They could never sell that property now without an extensive environmental clean-up. The fact that they know or willful blindness, so to speak, are now liable for the property. Or the EPA will somehow get involved, if they can indeed prove the property is contaminated.

Is Watchtower beginning to buckle

Totally doubt it will buckle anytime soon. The Borg is very clever at changing things, ie meetings, videos and guilt/fear tactics. Plus, like someone mentioned elsewhere on these boards, the Borg is entirely TAX FREE, an enormous monitory saving. Just can't see the Borg buckling. -

by inbetween ina thought on the emphasis of the importance of the new chairman arrangement at the midweek meeting:.
it reminds me of a tv-show, where the showmaster introduces tv-clips of some topics.. is it maybe a preparation for meetings with more and more videos ?.
and all the local brothers are doing is introducing them, creating anticipation for what big skydaddy prepared this week.. i wonder, if most of the meeting times in years to come will be videos anyway.....

Yes, I think you have it. With the ATM machines now situated in KH lobbies and now widescreen TV's also now installed in KH lobbies they very well may be moving to a more video-based meeting system. More indoctrination to make things more awe-inspiring in a way.

What a huge disappointment to the rank and file. Many, many comments I've heard throughout the day were to the nature of ''oh wow, I can't wait to hear the news from the AGM, something must have happened'', or ''the GT must be about to be announced, something big is happening''. Only to have some book released with meeting changes. Big, big disappointment to a lot of rank and file today, I'm betting. -

New member checking in
by Old Major inbeen reading for about 2 and a half years, thought i would take the plunge and sign up.. my circumstances... i live in uk, serving as ms. i am fully awake.
i can not leave due to family, so just treating the meetings as a bit of a social club.
i would like to give out more details, but i think you all know the drill.. complete disillusionment and i suppose natural curiosity woke me up.. don't know what else to say right now, just hello, and i hope to get to know some of you guys better.

WT Society SEC Records : Hedge Funds, Cayman Islands, Financial Losses - Links
by flipper inso my wife and i were curious so i researched some financial links and found records indicating that the wt society has been operating at a loss since the year 2012. as you read the links it shows a loss of 10 million $$$ in 2012, about 16 million $$$ in 2013, and a whopping loss of 56 million $$$ in 2014 - where the expenditures exceeded the revenues for each of those years in the amount i've mentioned.
also there is a link on this same website with the sec records indicating that the wt society and it's representatives funneled 40 million $$$$ into hedge funds in the cayman islands as early as 2007. if you look online on other sites you can see evidence that indicates the wt society attended hedge fund conferences to look into more shadiness in 2011 and isn't it curious that by 2012 the wt society started showing losses.
